to Damascus University for learning Arabic must send their applications
three months prior to the traveling date. They can send the
applications to the Directorate of International and Cultural Relations:

Applicants are required to submit the following:

1. The Curriculum Vitae of the student translated into Arabic.
2.
Statement of Purpose translated into Arabic and a recommendation
letter by one of his teachers at university (in Arabic or in English).

The Directorate of International and Cultural Relations will send acceptance letters as the admission process finishes.
Students
who do not have the above-mentioned letter or a good level of Arabic
(This case is related to theoretical colleges) will not be registered.
After getting the acceptance letter, your students can:
• register at the Higher Language Institute. They can visit the following website:
www.arabicindamascus.edu.sy, to get the required information.
• register at the theoretical faculties, then, the registration papers are the following:
1. A letter from the embassy showing its acceptance for the student registration.
2. 3 passport- photocopies.
3. 3 personal photos.
4. AIDS test results from the AIDS Laboratory in Damascus.
5. The student's academic certificates and copies of them translated into Arabic.
6. A residence documentation and a valid phone number
(the residence will be cancelled soon if there are wrong information or invalid phone number).
The registration of Arab student is between September 1st and February 28th.

Classes for listener students are between September 1st and June 30th.
• The student should follow the timetable signed by the dean and he should sign for his attendance.

• The studies period for listener student is only one year and he should renew it if necessary.
